The journey of a Restoration Curator.

Partner with a Burnout Recovery Coach based in Connecticut to restore your radiant self.

Bringing you back to the non-stressed, sovereign state you were meant to live in.

When you are carrying the silent, heavy weight of an overextended life, you often feel like a ghost in the machine of your own existence. You are physically present in your meetings or at your family dinner table, but your mind is scan-reading an invisible checklist five steps ahead. You trade your own physical energy to keep the gears turning, wondering if you will ever feel like yourself again.

I am Kim Gaskins, MBA, a health and well-being coach based in Connecticut. As a Restoration Curator and solo practitioner, I see my work with you much like restoring a masterpiece of art. My goal is not to fix you or force you into a one-size-fits-all mold, nor to hand you off to junior coaches. Instead, I partner directly with you to strip away the environmental noise, restore your physical baseline, and bring you back to the radiant, non-stressed state you were originally created to be.

From trial-and-error to intentional restoration.

"I looked at my own life and said, 'Enough.' I decided that I am the most important person in my life, and I refused to let my health collapse."

Restoration Curator & Health Coach

I wish I could point to a single, quiet moment when everything changed overnight. My recovery from burnout has been an ongoing journey, built through continuous practice, trial, and real-time alignment. For years, I operated as the ultimate fixer, serving as the manual support beam for my career, my family, and my home. I thought that physical exhaustion was simply the mandatory entry fee for high achievement.

Eventually, the physical toll of unaddressed burnout caught up with me. While working in a high-stress role, where I would drive to work miserable, cry in my car at the thought of walking through the doors, or sit at my desk physically exhausted with my head down, I also had my coaching practice. I hoped it would be my path to manifesting my purpose and full-time entrepreneurship. Instead, I initially brought the exact same hustle culture mindset into my business, believing I needed to build a massive team, chase endless revenue growth, and hustle harder. Stacking a business built on hustle on top of an already stressful job only deepened my burnout.

As I look back on my journey, I realize my turning point arrived when my father passed away from congestive heart failure. Standing in that grief, I looked at my own life and said, "Enough." I decided that I am the most important person in my life, and I refused to let my health collapse and impact my overall quality of life. I committed to improving my health and limiting the impact of genetics. This led me to lose over 100 pounds, transform my physical frame, align my spiritual well-being, and curate my daily environment, even while continuing to navigate that stressful work situation for a time. Through my training in the Duke Health and Well-being Coaching Framework, I found the evidence-based science that brought it all together. Recovery is an ongoing practice of self-preservation, and today I use my lived experience and evidence-based toolkit to spare you the trial-and-error I endured.

Three unshakeable principles that guide our partnership.

1. You are the center of your life and in control of your narrative.

You control what happens in your life. You are the heart of your environment, and work is only one piece of a much larger pie. Together, we put you back at the center of your world so you can make decisions that honor your biology.

2. Protect your time, mind, body, and spirit without guilt.

You cannot be everything to everybody without breaking your own frame. Setting boundaries around your rest and personal presence is an act of self-preservation, not withdrawal. I help you stop letting everyone in so you can protect your whole self.

3. Invest in yourself and grant yourself grace through micro-changes.

Lasting transformation does not happen in one massive disruption. It happens little by little through gentle micro-changes that accumulate into massive shifts over time. You must grant yourself grace as we navigate this process together.

Discovering your own answers through client-led partnership.

My background combines an MBA with a collaborative, client-driven model that puts you back at the center of your life. Grounded in the evidence-based Duke Health and Well-being Coaching framework, this dual perspective allows me to understand the complex realities of your career or business while guiding you through whole-person health across the Duke Wheel of Health.

I do not arrive with a rigid, one-size-fits-all plan or pretend to have all your answers. No two people are alike, and no two recovery paths are identical. As a solo practitioner, my role is to partner directly with you, meeting you exactly where you are standing today. Together, we use somatic-reset exercises, physical anchors, and tailored toolkits to help you stay in tune with your body, discover your own answers, and build self-efficacy that lasts a lifetime.
